So just to verify, the end is when you go to sleep after being with Samara, right?, or did I not install the correct one?
That is the end of chapter 1. More is to come in future patches.

It's still being worked on. The full story has been completed, just everything is hand drawn and very time consuming to make. We are almost done with chapters 1 and 2 which is coming very soon.
Bought it two years ago as well, and I had feared the game had died. Glad to see stuff is moving along! Ya'll are so talented, and make the best games! Pieces of My Heart is amazing! Also, thanks for including stuff for us feet folk! xD

How much content can I play now if I buy it?
I'm currently very interested in this game,but I don't know whether I should buy it here or Steam

So right now the build is just Chapter 1. We are close to finishing Chapters 1, 1.5, and 2 in the next patch. If you purchase here, or any other store (steam included) you will get every patch coming to the game.
Can I know when the next update ?
We are still working on it, focused mostly on polish and making sure its all consistent with the art changes.

in my opinion not worth it some parts are either lazily done and unfinished the story and female character is good though i don't know how feel about male character
Hey there, the game is still in heavy development so a lot of what is public right now is not the final product at all. Along with missing the other 4ish chapters. As for the lead male he is not supposed to be likeable, anti hero or whatever you'd like to classify him as.

Looking forward to seeing how this project develops, absolutely enjoyed what chapter 1 had to offer. The game is very unique in its own way, in a good way ofc, from the artwork and soundtrack as well as the overall setting of the story is pleasing. My only disappointment so far is the lack of content, which is understandable, in a sense that art should never be rushed. I have only but two questions I would like to ask:
1. Is there an estimated/confirmed release date for the second chapter?
2. How would I go about receiving notifications on upcoming updates/news for this project?
Any additional info you can add regarding the development would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance for your reply and thank you for allowing me the opportunity to experience what I hope to be an excellent game!

Bonus. Chapter 1 has been overhauled, chapter 2 is being done. Both are being polished. There is an extra chapter 1.5 being added. Old chapter 1 had 38 images it now has close to double that. Including the new chapters the total is around 180 new images.

Terrible game had potential to be good but it was ruined by lazy wrighting and lazy art at times and a vary short gameplay with no full on action between the charaters i want a refund !
You've only played 1 chapter so I dunno why you're getting so worked up about it all. If you want a refund talk to itch.
i played first chapter and it said end game
