Welcome explorers! Halloween is right around the corner and your friends at Kinky Fridays have been working really hard to get you all something a little spooky with a huge focus on content. Version 008 is just that! Content on content on content!
Humans on the Island
Allow me to introduce our two protagonists playable in Sapphire Safari!
Meet Jamie and Oscar! These two will serve as our playable characters, with the one not selected becoming an NPC and character in the game. This choice will be locked in after the selection is made, so you’ll need a fresh save game to change. Both characters will eventually have some cosmetic choices for the player to make. But enjoy them for now!
Deep shafting
The most requested feature (and rightly so) is being able to do a little horizontal tango, some hokie pokie, clap cheeks, etc. And now you can! The first implementation of this is a little complicated and needs more polish. But to get things moving you will need at least one character with a penis following (or if you selected Oscar as your player character). Then activate the doll system via the tab menu and make your selection!
New girls on the block
You might have noticed two new Monster Girls in the shots above, how keen of you! Yes, we have Echo the Bat and Skully the H̷͔͓͚̑̍o̴̟̳͐͌r̵̯̺͌͆r̴̥̋͘o̷͇͕͋̆́r̵̨̳̯͗̔. Both of them are new and finable in the nighttime expedition of Moana Tropic, the official name for the Jungle Island in Sapphire Safari.
Flora overhaul and nighttime
The last major feature for this patch is the asset rework and nighttime mode for the Jungle Island now named Moana Tropic. You can choose the time you wish to explore from the depart menu. As for the assets, we have been overhauling the jungle flora needed to make things look dense without making them feel overwhelmed. We are still working on this but feel free to enjoy the fruits of our labor thus far!

We really hope you enjoy our latest patch for Sapphire Safari, it was a lot of work to get it all ready before Halloween this year. Our next patch should be focused on making a core gameplay loop now that we have the basics in place for our game, along with further refinements to the Doll system among others.

purchased because bunny blowjob. Turns out only missionary is available. Is there a timetable on adding the animations advertised? Or do I just not know how to unlock them?
We will be focusing on the sandbox stuff (sex and whatnot) in the next couple of patches!
Nice game, lots of potential.. but still a bit to early to sell it for 15 dlls :( there isnt much to do... but it has the potential to grow quite well
Always vote with your wallet. We are doing monthly builds and have a decent sized team meaning we will always be focused on building and adding meaningful content to the game every patch. Hopefully you'll be part of our community soon!
I paid for the game, Im also a game developer so I know how hard is to dedicate your time creating games, specially without funding. However, I paid for several games that have little to none content and this only makes players discouraged on future updates becase they feel cheated out.

I won't honestly be able to tell you that right now, as we are always changing things. However please assume that some sort of dedicated GPU is needed to experience the game at a reasonable quality.

honestly it would be cool to have a mode where you can have the them (The Monster girls) as a skin for your player to add more customization in the scenes.
By them, you mean monsters girls?
Yes, of course the idea of having the charatures developed as unlockable skins maybe for completing task or affection.

Hey there Kinky Fridays I decided to go ahead and buy the game to try it out since I also Like Pokemon snap. I just wanted a quick rundown of how I'm supposed to play the game as of current build 008 and how to bond with the girls. I've gotten the taking pictures part down but after I hit save photos and returned to the boat they weren't there in the gallery. If I'm doing something wrong please inform me. So I and others can better enjoy what we have so far.
We still have a long way to go before our user experience (UX) is polished. The next patch should focus on that a lot more. But here is a quick run down.
1. Take photo.
2. Open gallery by pressing tab and select save photo.
3. Click on the photos you like. They will get a green save icon on them. The game now will not remove them when you retire from the expedition.
For the sex system do this.
1. Find a monster you like and hit "F" on them to have them follow you. You'll need at least one penis equipped character to have sex.
2. Hit tab and bring up the follower commands section and select missionary (the only one we have so far). And place the hologram on the ground where you like.
3. Hit e to cycle between the characters for the base position. Hit enter to confirm.
4. Hit e once more to cycle between the characters for the penetrator position. Hit enter to confirm.
5. Use the mouse click and drag limbs of the base character to position then how you like.
6. While hovering over the penetrator character use your mouse wheel to increase or decrease the speed of the animation.
Like I said it needs a lot of work before I would consider it polished but the basics are there.
Okay I am clearly missing something... how the heck do I even initiate a sex scene?

Sadly Tab does not work for me, or anything for that matter. It's almost like the mechanic is completely missing for me. I am impressed with the game so I will just wait until it decides to work for me I guess.
And I do have the male protag selected so I am unsure what I am doing wrong here.

nighttime is really good the game runs well with the lack of shadows. i also have not found any major bugs.

the flow is a little janky still, we will be working on it in the future. but you need to have a monster with a dong to get the full animation working. then use the mouse wheel on the character penetrating the other to make them speed up or down.

Lets fucking GO looks amazing. So happy with how the team has been able to deliver such solid updates these past 2 months. I can't wait to try this all out. Only one question I have since you mention that one character must have a PP is if a playable futa character options would be a thing in the future maybe?
