Is there any way to buy a steam key for this still? GOG or Steam itself is not an option for me due to region locks.

Their store is having an issue regarding purchases for it, so it's been taken down until resolved.
It's been like that for a long while now ever since they made a steam key available here, while also have their itch game for purchase.
Can only make a guess that its because the steam key purchases was the cause of it.
Actually Mastercard does not like Human x Furry stuff and has actively found our payment options to shut them down.

That's been gone since patch v022d.hf2 (November 2024). You will have to play using WINE/Proton from now on.

hey, I'd like to purchase this on itch, not the steam key, but i don't see the buy now button. is this a common issue?
The button disappeared about a month ago (only for this game). No one seems to know exactly why.
Edit: According to some new messages on the discord, it seems like the game is no longer buyable on itch, only JAST, GOG and Steam.

No idea. The itch support simply doesn't react at all, as far as I can see. But maybe we'll get some more info at some point in the future.

Yes, BUT if you actually click on that buy button you get a "404 Site not found" Error Page from Itch. So the shop is not available, even if you find the button in the Dev Log. Also that wouldn't give you the Steam key, only the itch version.

Hello, I recently noticed that the Steam version of the game has collectible cards. And that's really good news! The cards are very beautifully designed, and it's clear that they've been worked on! I hope you will make many such cards in the future (I will collect them all)! A total of 5 Michelin stars!

Developers, how do you like the idea of making such a feature that when a player with bees has a low family name and when he enters their hive, those bees who see him in the hive will start ATTACKING the player and his photos will disappear, and when his family name is at level 3, they calmly do they react (and pose for him, of course, when they see him)?How do you like this idea for the mechanics of the game?It would just be more realistic!

No, only the itch version.
They do have a option to buy a Steam key, but only the Steam key.
The reason for that is because some people has issues with buying on Steam.

encountered a bug where i can hear both the male and female voice at the same time, also the body parts swap sometimes sometimes either restarting or resting helps, can also mention it's an older save from the previous version. ( take your time just wanted to help with some info locating the issue ) it's still playable and i haven't started a new save yet so i don't know if that will fix it.

If you refering to the page where you can buy a Steam key on Itch, you have to claim the Steam key in the "My Library" at your profile from the top right.
-Click on the downward arrow of your profile and hit the My Library.
-Then navigate to your Sapphire Safari Steam key and hit download.
-From the download page there is a butten where you can claim the key.
-Once you click on that, you should be getting a code to use as a key, so copy it or write it down.
-Then you can redeem it on Steam by going to Steam and clicking Add a Game, and select Activate a Product on Steam.
If you however bought the Sapphire Safari Early Access instead and hoped you would get a Steam Key included, then you are sorely mistaken, because they dont sell them as a bundle. There exist two types of purchase on this site, and thats Sapphire Safari Steam Key, and the other is Sapphire Safari Early access.

What i said was that there is two types you can buy on this site, and one of them gives you only a Steam Key, while the other the game for Itch only.
There is no way to buy the game for Itch and get a Steam key included with the purchase.
Ofc right now they not available for purchase because of issues with their itch store, so its tempoary down.
So if they want to buy it for Steam, they have to do it directly at Steam store.

Sorry, the photographers are humans who make a discovery. Maybe once the game's narrative is fully complete, you can just do whatever, but for the time being it will focus on that.

If you bought the game in 2022, you likely don't get a key, since the game was not even released to steam yet during that time.
The early access to steam version happend during this year 2025, so you probably would have to buy it on Steam now to get it since you no longer validated to get a steam key because you bought it before it was released to Steam.
But if you have not yet bought the game on Itch, you can get the Steam key from the Sapphire Safari Steam Key purchase you can see further up from the main page of this game's site.
Looking a bit further into the purchase of it, it seems there is only a choice of buying the Itch version or the Steam key, since it shows in the description: Sapphire Safari but only the Steam key!
So in other words, you dont get a Steam key when buying the itch version. You just able to buy a Steam key because some has issues buying it on steam.

You buy one or the other, we do not have an option to purchase the game and get both. If we did, it would cost double the price we have right now.
No worries, i just wondered as i had bought it back in 2022 during that time you could only by it as a bundle with another game! as the bundle costed just a tad more then the game and it wasnt yet to be announced to steam! but i guess its wait for a sale time ahah! thank you btw for the response keep up the good work
The photo stacking from the most recent update is kinda bothersome for me. When selecting to upload or delete a photo in a stack, the game moves on to the next stack instead of cycling through the photos in the current stack, which means I have to manually go back to the stack I'm working with. It would be nice to fix that or give us the option to toggle photo stacking on and off.
You can only upload one photo from the stack, so it would be weird to move onto the next stacked photo.
I think there might be a graphical or functional bug then. It looks like I can select multiple photos out of a stack and I'm pretty sure that I get progress on multiple species if I select different species from the same stack. Will test it again next week.
Found a crashing bug. I was caught by a flower and one of the girls was in heat from another flower and tried to pounce on me. Game didn't know what to do and crashed.
