Hello. We have no plans to add male characters just yet, if we did the total amount of work would be very large. So a feature like that would only come after everything else is done.
For the gallery question, we don't have traditional scenes or something like that. But in the build we are about to release you can build up friendliness with a species of monster and do unlocked sex acts with them as you want. Kinda like a gallery I guess.
In the current public the scenes come from being captured by predators. In the next patch releasing in a few days it will be tied to the photography progress you've made with each species and the sex acts you've discovered on the island. And there is a final event spending on what day it is.
The VIP builds are not considered full "builds;" they are super duper buggy and half-implemented. If you'd like to see them and support our development (as that is the intention, at least), please subscribe to Patreon.
So i bought the game, and installed it via the installer, but its insisting i install c++ every time i try and boot it, even though i've already installed it. If i dont do the install the game wont run, but when i launch the c++ installer, it tries to uninstall it. Is there a way to fix this?
Jamie is a female in narrative. She will eventually get the possibility to equip an attachment that allows her to do male animations but she wont be treated as a futa.

Every time I open the settings to go change something, all movement in game freezes. WASD doesn't work, crouching doesn't work and even pressing esc doesn't work.

hey i am getting some crashes where it says "Fatal Error!" upon taking a picture. it seems to be random. also, if i'm in the camera and get caught in a plant or predator encounter, when the encounter is finished, i will be stuck in the camera still, but unable to look around. just fyi.

This is exactly what I was experiencing, check if you've got overclocking of any sort enabled for your GPU, especially the VRAM and disable it. For me this fixed the issue with this game and actually a few others like RDR2.

Correct. It is one camp per biome. And we are focusing on one biome at a time. After the plains are done we will do the forest, etc. Consult the roadmap for more details.

Familiarity is coming in the next main patch so it is not functioning right now. Following the launch on steam we will have story mode unlocked which will have narrative elements as well.
Running on linux, i get the initial settings asking about screen settings, after that screen goes black and there is sound. Im running on the Itch.io app and i am using linux mint.
Exact same problem here, was using the recommended amdgpu driver, all up to date. For now, using the Windows version with Wine through Bottles (only minor bugs).

Nothing has changed with that particular process. Can you give me more details on the exact time the crash happens? The more specific you are the better it is to find the issue.
When the game crashes, it's always the immediate moment I click to take a photograph.
I guess I should have clarified that the game doesn't immediately crash to desktop, the screen freezes, and I get a popup just saying "Fatal error" and that the game has crashed and will now exit. Once I acknowledge the popup, then the game exits to the desktop.
Could you run task manager while the game runs? I want to know how the processes are being handled in your PC. It's likely you're running out of ram or something during the game as it needs to create a jpg file in your PC after you take it. So if you don't have the hardware needed or if there is hardware errors it might give you some issues.
I ran task manager, and that showed a massive spike in the "3D", "Copy 1", and "Compute 0" graphs at the moment the game crashed after taking a photo. The memory usage graphs looked normal though (I got 32GB of RAM, and 16GB VRAM).
I also ran Resource Monitor and that showed "5 Hard Faults/sec" for this game at the moment of the crash, there's also a spike that goes off the charts on the hard faults graph.
I genuinely hope this isn't bad hardware, this PC is not that old lol.
It might be fam. We will be changing how the saves work soon so it might solve the issue. Not sure. To me it reads like it is having issues creating new files.

Prey and predators will have a new advancement track added called familiarity which is how the photographer becomes more friendly with any species they catalogue. The higher familiarity the better interaction options you'll have. Familiarity mechanics is the next patches focus.
Bought the game after this new update and loved it so much that I decided to put in the time to unlock the Malous but I was disappointed by how the Malous still stays cloaked after it's pounced on you, making it hard to really enjoy the scene that follows.
Could you please make it that the Malous comes out of it's cloak when it's successfully hunted you? makes no sense for it to continue camoflauging when it's already caught it's prey.
But if that's supposed to be intended according to the lore, atleast add an option in the gameplay section for it because otherwise it makes unlocking the Malous pretty disappointing since it stays cloaked during its scenes with you.
She won't be cloaked during the scenes from familiarity. I can see the benefits of your suggestion though. Perhaps there can be a toggle or something as others like being able to see through her.
Replying to an old post. Sorry, but my question is relevant to this. Has Malous decloaking during familiarity acts implemented yet? she still appears invisble to me during acts even at max friendlyness.
Silly question. Are your gpu drivers up to date? If not please update them. Sapphire is using the latest version of unreals newest engine so it does require you update your software drivers.

We are based in poland, so you just need your bank to approve the transaction. Also gift cards (dunno if you're using one) tend to not work.

Not yet. We will likely add it as a sex option when we add that menu into the game.
Likely you don't have dx12 compatible hardware. Inside the install directory is a file called dx11.bat just run that and it should work.
